Internships

To be eligible for an internship with the UIC family of companies an applicant must meet the following criteria:

• Shareholder or shareholder descendant
• Enrolled in either High School or an accredited University taking at least 9 credit hours
• GPA of 2.0 or higher
• Completion of UIC Internship Orientation

Workforce Development Training and Certification Opportunities

If you are seeking opportunities for training, please contact the Shareholder Development office or a Human Resources representative at one of the UIC office locations listed on our Recruitment Contacts page. HR is collecting information from those interested so they can be informed of new and upcoming opportunities. UIC’s subsidiary companies provide required training to employees as needed for client projects.

Scholarships

The UIC Foundation is a non-profit organization with the mission of improving the lives of the Iñupiat people by helping UIC shareholders and their descendants reach their educational goals through scholarship funding. The UIC Foundation provides scholarships to eligible students attending college or vocational school full-or part-time, and assists with costs including tuition, fees and books for each term. To be eligible for consideration for a scholarship an applicant must be a UIC shareholder or descendant of a UIC shareholder.
